However, to receive a Root Cause ID Analysis Report and get our opinion on the possible causes of your health issues, there is a fee associated with this.

After we receive all your information, including any previous lab results, along with possible new advanced lab testing results, it takes our lab interpretation team 3-5 business days to complete your report. Once your Root Cause Analysis Report is completed, you’ll receive a message through your HIPAA-secure Healthie portal to retrieve and download your results.

If you do not have the lab information we need to analyze the root cause of your health issues, we will then require the purchasing of advanced lab testing so we can retrieve the biomarkers needed to assess the full picture of the problem.

Yes. After reviewing your health history and any uploaded previous lab results, we’ll then assess if you need additional lab panels. A member of Root Cause ID will message you through our HIPAA-secure Healthie EHR portal of which lab biomarkers are still needed to assess the health issue.

Root Cause ID provides a convenient online lab shop where you can purchase advanced lab testing panels. Most traditional healthcare providers do not prescribe these types of advanced lab tests so we wanted a one-stop-shop where you can purchase the necessary lab tests that help us dig deeper into possible root causes.

Typically, they do not. The Root Cause ID lab interpretation team usually needs more in-depth testing than what most traditional healthcare practitioners prescribe, and insurance companies cover. We want to get to the bottom of the actual cause of the problem, rather than just using the labs that provided a diagnosis. Unfortunately, most insurance companies do not cover these types of lab tests. If insurance companies do cover any of these lab panels, they would typically need a medical diagnosis code to cover the lab and Root Cause ID does not provide medical diagnosis codes.

No. Root Cause ID specializes in interpreting advanced lab testing and connecting the dots to what they mean to your overall health issues. We do not treat any conditions based on our findings. Just like how a radiologist interprets MRIs, CT scans, and Ultrasounds, and another medical provider provides treatments and therapies based on the radiologist interpretations. Instead of interpreting scans, the Root Cause ID team interprets lab testing. We provide our root cause analysis report so your healthcare practitioners can provide a more accurate treatment regimen for you based on the root cause of the problem.

We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or manage any medical conditions. Root Cause ID takes your previous medical diagnosis or health concerns, and we help connect the dots to these issues with advanced lab biomarkers which could be the root cause of the problem. Our analysis provides an opinion on the origin of what could be causing your medical condition or symptoms. We provide research and education on the correlation between advanced lab biomarkers and your health concerns, so you and your health providers have more accurate answers.

We may provide general information of supportive therapies which have been shown to help support or treat the root cause of the health issue, but we do not recommend specific treatment plans.

Yes. Based on where you live and what type of issues you may have, we may be able to refer you to other health practitioners who specialize in the treatment of your root cause issues.

With a consenting adult, Root Cause ID can provide Root Cause ID Analysis Reports for children 2 years and older.

We can help clients in all states except for New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island. We only provide services to residents of the United States.
